The 2013 Texas A&M–Commerce Lions women's volleyball team

Length and history verified. I do, however, have some issues. First, even apart from the source used for the main hook not mentioning the architect's name, it's really more relevant to the building than the team (unless the building were designed solely as a venue for volleyball, which it does not appear to be). Second, the source used for the other two is just the page with links to all their season results. We need more specific sourcing. Daniel Case (talk) 04:29, 22 December 2015 (UTC)

Thanks for your review, Daniel. Let me respond to your two issues:

1. The source used for the main hook does clearly mention the architect's name. Please note the second sentence of the penultimate paragraph: "At a cost of $325k, the crews of George L. Dahl were able to complete the project in just over a year." Admittedly, it doesn't use the word "architect", but it is certainly implied by this phrasing (and Dahl was certainly an architect). Your related point that the first-choice hook has more to do with the arena than the team is certainly true, though, and would be a valid reason to pass over it for one of the (admittedly less interesting) alternates.

2. Regarding your second point, please note that the URL for the "A&M-Commerce Volleyball History" menu page is exactly the same as the URL for the "All-time Game Results" page (both of these will take you to the "menu" page when clicked upon). This is a technical limitation of the site that neither you, I, nor any other end user can remedy. If there had been a way to link directly to the "All-time Game Results" page, I certainly would have done so, but unfortunately there isn't anything I can do on this front. I did the best I could given this limitation.

My suggestion would be putting something in the footnote explaining this. Daniel Case (talk) 03:02, 1 January 2016 (UTC)

Please feel free to scuttle the first hook for lack of relevance to the article, but note Dahl is mentioned by name in the Field House reference and there is no way to link directly to that "All-time Game Results" page that sources all of the statistics.
