Ten Percent (TV series)
- ... that adaptation TV series Ten Percent was criticised for being too faithful to the original?
Converted from a redirect by Kingsif (talk). Self-nominated at 23:39, 3 May 2022 (UTC).
- The article meets DYK requirements and a QPQ has been provided. The hook is cited inline and verified, but I think the hook needs rewording. For one thing, it needs to be made clear that it is an adaptation of a French TV series and that it is British, none of which are mentioned in the current hook. - Does it need to make that clear, like that information isn't necessary to understand the hook, so the less cruft the better? Kingsif (talk) 07:46, 5 May 2022 (UTC)
- Hook seems fine. It doesn't sell the adaptation at all, but it did cause me to start watching the original (and also read the article to find out what is up with the British version). Anyway, there is a ton of buzz right now about Ten Percent / Call My Agent so I would push to get this DYK approved ASAP so it seems more timely. If we let six weeks go by, no one will care. - I binged the adaptation for writing the article, and I think once it's set up the premise (which, yes, is identical), it finds its own feet. Most of the reviews are for the first two episodes. Perhaps the hook isn't entirely accurate, then, but putting "the first two episodes" into it wouldn't be very readable. I do suggest watching the adaptation, if just for the acting talent. - ALT1: ... that Ten Percent is like Dix pour cent, but with "piercing British humour"?
- ALT1a: ... that per one critic, Ten Percent is like Dix pour cent, but with "a little more heart and piercing British humour"?
- ALT1b: ... that the difference between Ten Percent and Dix pour cent, per one review, is "a little more heart and piercing British humour"?
- ALT2: ... that adaptation TV series Ten Percent was praised for having "a little more heart" than the original?
- ALT3: ... that one critic's two cents is that Ten Percent adds "a little more heart and piercing British humour"? Cielquiparle (talk) 06:39, 10 May 2022 (UTC)

- After giving this some thought, I think the original hook is fine and we can go with that. I don't think the other hooks proposed are as good. If people want to know what it's an adaptation of, they can always read the article. Narutolovehinata5 (talk · contributions) 12:42, 21 May 2022 (UTC)
