Length and date are fine, article is extremely well-researched, well-written, and within policy. The hook is interesting, too. My only minor concern is whether a City Pages obit can be considered a reliable source for the hook fact. (I don't know much about City Pages' fact-checking, and it worries me that no other sources on the topic I glanced at appear to include this fact.) I asked at the RS Noticeboard Wikipedia:Reliable sources/Noticeboard#City_Pages.3F; once confirmed, I'll be glad to check this one off. -- Khazar (talk) 11:42, 29 January 2012 (UTC)
Website City Pages has won journalism awards and is published by the Village Voice. Good enough for me. This is good to go. -- Khazar (talk) 12:53, 29 January 2012 (UTC)
