Susan Baker
[edit]- ... that in 2003, Susan Baker became the first woman to hold a King Carl XVI Gustaf Professorship in Environmental Science? Source: "An Irish social scientist specialising on the environment has become a 'King's professor' to the Royal Court of Sweden. It is the first time a woman has received the award since its inception in 1996" (link)

- Long enough and new enough. I'll admit that the second sentence in the opening comes off like WP:SYNTHESIS to me. I notice there was a prior AfD; the issues expressed are addressed? No BLP, plagiarism or copyvio issues that I can see. Hook sourced and interesting. I see just one substantial independent source in the article here. Finally, has the QPQ source-spotchecked? - Thanks, Jo-Jo Eumerus. The second sentence is just a summary of the information on the research tab of her profile page, which is cited. The AfD was about a different Susan Baker - I checked this with RHaworth before starting the article, so he should be able to confirm if necessary. What do you mean by "has the QPQ source-spotchecked" - do you mean have I spot-checked the QPQ article? Cordless Larry (talk) 23:11, 2 June 2017 (UTC)
- Yes, spot-checked that the article text matches the sourcing. Jo-Jo Eumerus (talk, contributions) 08:10, 3 June 2017 (UTC)
- Thanks for clarifying, Jo-Jo Eumerus - it's been a while since I've done a DYK and the lingo seems to have moved on a bit. Spotted shag relies on quite a few print sources, but I checked where I could and also checked aspects of the article using online sources where they were available (hence this edit). Do let me know if anything in the article concerns you and I'll take another look. Cordless Larry (talk) 08:32, 3 June 2017 (UTC)
