Susan Anderson, circa 1900

  • I have accessed the few sources listed, am happy with its reliability, and I have also ascertained that it is long enough. I can whiff out no plagiarism and this is fairly interesting a fact. No comments on image though. Looks good to me! Refreshing to be back after half a year. God save the Queen, ☯ Bonkers The Clown \(^_^)/ Nonsensical Babble ☯ 11:48, 2 June 2014 (UTC)
  • Should be a green tick, as all sources are online. Just to make sure this doesn't get caught up in a technicality because the original reviewer is topic banned here. Article created by 97198 on June 1, 2014 and has 2,027 characters of readable prose. Duplication Detector found no issues of copyvio or close paraphrasing. External Links tool and Disambig tools found no issues. Hook is stated in the article and sourced online. Image is used in the article and is PD due to its age. QPQ was done. — Maile (talk) 19:20, 5 June 2014 (UTC)
  • The hook is a little bland; and we just promoted a similar hook about a Denver, Colorado doctor, Justina Ford, who was also the only woman physician in her town. How about:
  • ALT1: ... that Susan Anderson (pictured), one of the first women to practice medicine in Colorado, was jilted at the altar by her fiancé? Yoninah (talk) 21:01, 11 June 2014 (UTC)
  • Article is new enough, large enough and there are no neutrality issues. The image is free, used in the article, and renders well at 100x100. The original hook here is interesting and while some editors here might notice a similar hook, most readers won't. Striking ALT1 here because it doesn't really flow (or pass the Finkbeiner test). gobonobo + c 20:39, 12 June 2014 (UTC)
