Sierra Leone women's national football team

[edit]

Created/expanded by LauraHale (talk), Foxj (talk). Nominated by LauraHale (talk) at 08:45, 5 June 2012 (UTC)

While all other requirements are met, I can't find the source for the hook. That this team has played four matches are sourced, but that they have only played four matches is not sourced, and ref #4 doesn't tell me anything, unless I put in dates in the advanced search function. (Which then tells me that the team have played four matches, but is that good enough as a source for a DYK-hook)? Mentoz86 (talk) 12:03, 8 June 2012 (UTC)
FIFA's website does not have static linking for full history of their matches, which should be good enough. I have dealt with that particular FIFA website citation issue before and had DYKs pass. --LauraHale (talk) 12:14, 8 June 2012 (UTC)
If more interesting hook desired, could try one involving Marta where the sourcing is much more clear. --LauraHale (talk) 12:15, 8 June 2012 (UTC)
As you already have a number of ... that Foo women's national football team has only played X FIFA recognised matches, I guess it better to find another hook, and here is three suggestions from me. The hooks might need a little tweaking, as I'm no native English speaker. Mentoz86 (talk) 20:00, 8 June 2012 (UTC)
These teams with very few games make it difficult to find interesting hooks. :( Anyway, I like Alt1 and Alt3. --LauraHale (talk) 21:02, 8 June 2012 (UTC)
Good to go with ALT1. Mentoz86 (talk) 21:25, 8 June 2012 (UTC)
