Sidney Kennon

[edit]

Mrs Cannon's marmoset, drawn by George Edwards as The Sanglin.

  • ... that royal midwife Mrs. Cannon collected exotic animals (illustration pictured) and curiosities such as Oliver Cromwell's nightcap?

5x expanded by Andrew Davidson (talk). Self nominated at 15:16, 18 October 2013 (UTC).

  • At 1248 bytes of readable prose, the article is too short for DYK (1500 are required as a minimum). It's still a stub, and those are not eligible for DYK either. Can you expand the article further? Schwede66 02:40, 20 October 2013 (UTC)
The article has been expanded and reworked. The stub templates have been removed. Please take another look. Andrew Davidson (talk) 20:07, 20 October 2013 (UTC)
Date, length, and hook check out. No close paraphrasing or plagiarism was detected. Offline sources accepted in good faith. Image is in the public domain and renders well at 100x100. The (pictured) maybe should read (illustration pictured) instead, but otherwise this looks good to go. Gobōnobō + c 23:52, 20 October 2013 (UTC)
I concur with the suggested hook amendment and have done this, just so that it doesn't get overlooked by somebody moving this to the prep area without looking through the comments. Schwede66 02:32, 21 October 2013 (UTC)
