Shamir (musician), Northtown (EP) and If It Wasn't True

[edit]
  • ... that "If It Wasn't True" from countertenor Shamir's 2014 Northtown EP was called "Your Favorite Breakup Song" by Vogue and "semidissonant pulses tickled by antsy snares and hi-hats" by Dazed?

  • All three of these articles were created on July 21st. They are all new enough and long enough. The two main hook facts have reliable inline citations and are included in If It Wasn't True. They do not occur in the other two articles, but then they wouldn't be expected there because they describe the song. 3 QPQs have been done. The articles seem neutral and I found no copyright issues. Nor did I find much duplication between the three articles where they were covering the same topics. Good to go. Cwmhiraeth (talk) 18:13, 13 August 2014 (UTC)
  • Between the long quotes and the overlapping of content between articles, Northtown at least does not have enough original content. Nikkimaria (talk) 12:02, 15 August 2014 (UTC)
I have no problem with eliminating the DYK credit for "Northtown" if you feel there's insufficient original content. Cbl62 (talk) 13:18, 15 August 2014 (UTC)
Okay, that would be fine. Nikkimaria (talk) 23:27, 22 August 2014 (UTC)
  • Per Nikkimaria's concurrence, restoring Cwmhiraeth's approval and striking original hook, replacing it with the identical hook text, though with only the remaining two articles bolded, and the too-short "Northtown" article given as a non-bold wikilink and removed as a DYKmake:
