5x expanded by Misokkkim (talk). Self-nominated at 05:27, 12 October 2015 (UTC).

  • Comment. Student project, so I hope we can waive some formalities (like date of nomination). Ping me if there are any concerns, and I'll help to deal with them (said student is from my class). Cheers, --Piotr Konieczny aka Prokonsul Piotrus| reply here 10:33, 18 October 2015 (UTC)
  • Piotrus, if it was actually only a few days late, we probably could waive the date of nomination. But according to DYKcheck, the 5x expansion started on September 20, so this was actually nominated 22 days after expansion, not 9 days. (If we use October 3 as the start of the expansion, it's less than 2x, which isn't sufficient.) Template:Did you know nominations/Mount Cotton Road was posted September 13 and nominated October 4, a 21-day gap where the nominee was a new DYK participant, and deemed far too old to qualify—work on this article started a week later and had an extra day's delay in nomination. I'm very sorry; I don't see how we can make the exception. Perhaps your student can aim for GA status, and renominate should the article qualify. BlueMoonset (talk) 04:00, 27 October 2015 (UTC)

  • Per discussion, there will be no exceptions. Also, the expansion happened 22 days ago. The expansion that started nine days prior was less than twofold. Therefore, this nomination shall be deemed too late or too little (or maybe switch the two and you get the idea). George Ho (talk) 19:21, 22 November 2015 (UTC)
