Sar Kheng

[edit]

2x expanded and sourced (BLP) by WilliamThweatt (talk). Self-nominated at 19:56, 15 November 2015 (UTC).

  • This does not qualify as a 2x BLP, since it already had a few footnotes before you expanded it. Instead, it qualifies as a 5x expansion. 5x expansion verified. New enough, long enough, neutrally written, well referenced, no close paraphrasing seen. The first paragraph under "Minister of the Interior" needs at least one inline cite, per Rule D2. Regarding the hook, I see inline cites for "former Khmer Rouge official", "Minister of the Interior", and "Deputy Prime Minister", but not for "Member of Parliament". I added a link to the hook.
  • Note: The first sentence under "Background" contains 389 characters of text copied from Neth Savoeun. This is not included in the DYK character count for this article. Also, when you copy text from one Wikipedia article to another, you must follow the instructions in Template:Copied to add a permanent record to the talk page. • Thanks for reviewing this article. I have provided a citation showing he is an MP. Also, thanks for reminding me about Template:Copied. I had planned to do that (in fact I recently helped somebody else understand this very issue), but got interested in other things and forgot. Anyway, I was the only author of the original (copied) text, so no harm, no foul. I can re-use my own words without attributing it to myself again. But, for the sake of completeness, I went ahead and added the template to the talk page anyway. Cheers!--William Thweatt TalkContribs 03:33, 29 November 2015 (UTC)
  • Thank you for providing the hook ref. What about a citation for the first paragraph in the section "Ministry of the Interior"? Yoninah (talk) 10:32, 29 November 2015 (UTC)
  • Sorry, I misread that part of your review the first time around. I have provided three references for the paragraph in question. The one online reference may be a little "iffy", but its only purpose is to have something "clickable" that verifies he was indeed given the position in 1992, nothing controversial. The important stuff is referenced to two widely-respected books on recent Cambodian politics.--William Thweatt TalkContribs 11:41, 29 November 2015 (UTC)
  • Thanks. Hook refs verified and cited inline. Good to go. Yoninah (talk) 12:06, 29 November 2015 (UTC)
