Salsa Big Band
[edit]- ... that Panamanian artists Rubén Blades and Roberto Delgado & Orquesta won the Latin Grammy Award for Album of the Year for Salsa Big Band in 2017? Source: (Latin Grammys: 'Despacito' Is King, Ruben Blades Wins Album of the Year, Eduardo Cabra Named Producer of the Year)

- Detailed, well-sourced article, no copyvio obvious. - Just think about rewording the hook, to have the topic first? And I don't need a critic's prediction in the lead when the next sentence is that he was right ;) --Gerda Arendt (talk) 09:19, 22 November 2017 (UTC)

- Much more blue than I like, but accepted. Sorry that I overlooked your suggestion. --Gerda Arendt (talk) 11:04, 9 December 2017 (UTC)
- @Jaespinoza and Gerda Arendt: I was about to promote this, but what's this about 2018? Shouldn't it be 2017? Cwmhiraeth (talk) 06:59, 22 December 2017 (UTC)
- My understanding is that the presentation of the award will be in 2018, - no idea how to word it best. Ideas? Perhaps - whatever wording - wait with the hook until 1 January? Would make a nice uplift to start a new year! --Gerda Arendt (talk) 08:51, 22 December 2017 (UTC)
- Jaespinoza, Gerda Arendt & Cwmhiraeth It's listed as 2017 at Latin Grammy Award for Album of the Year, and 18th Annual Latin Grammy Awards says it was awarded this November. I think the confusion is because the album was also nominated for the Best Tropical Latin Album at the 60th Annual Grammy Awards (i.e., the regular Grammys, not the Latin Grammys), which will take place in 2018. So 2017 appears to be the correct year for this hook. --Usernameunique (talk) 11:15, 26 December 2017 (UTC)
- I've changed the year in the hook and replaced Gerda's tick. Cwmhiraeth (talk) 18:27, 26 December 2017 (UTC)
- Made the same change to ALT1, which I believe was preferred over the original hook since it placed the nominated article earlier in the hook. BlueMoonset (talk) 16:54, 27 December 2017 (UTC)
