- Comment: As I have not yet created 5 DYKs, there is no need for me to do a QPQ.

- Detailed account, on fine sources, offline sources accepted AGF, no copyvio obvious. I suggest that you fix a few things in the article:
- no references are needed for the lead, as long as the facts a referenced below (or for a quote).
- I always say I don't need more than 3 refs for one fact, - perhaps reduce at least to five.
- "sandwiching" of text between image and infobox should be avoided, - consider moving the first pic.
- Short paragraphs should be avoided, - please combine what you can. The whistle is not worth an extra paragraph ;) --Gerda Arendt (talk) 11:26, 17 November 2020 (UTC)
- You could still nominate an image! --Gerda Arendt (talk) 11:27, 17 November 2020 (UTC)
- Thank you for the pic, I formatted a bit, and in such a case it needs a specific "pictured" in the hook. The image is licensed, shows well and is a good illustration. --Gerda Arendt (talk) 14:32, 17 November 2020 (UTC)
- Hi, I came by to promote this, but tagged the article for an excessive amount of citations. There is no reason for up to 10 cites on one sentence. Per WP:LEAD, non-controversial facts do not need to be cited at all in the lead if they are cited in the body of the article. Please try to do something about removing all these cites. Thanks, Yoninah (talk) 22:53, 2 December 2020 (UTC)
- @Yoninah: I have removed a lot of the unnecessary citations. I have cut it down to a maximum of five citations per sentence in some place where it is necessary to have several (e.g. differing sources that are mentioned in the article). GreatLakesShips (talk) 23:58, 2 December 2020 (UTC)
- @GreatLakesShips: Thank you. What about Stephen F. Sczepanek? Yoninah (talk) 00:01, 3 December 2020 (UTC)
- @Yoninah: Sorry, I didn't notice that. I will fix it now GreatLakesShips (talk) 00:02, 3 December 2020 (UTC)
