Interesting life, on good sources, no copyvio obvious. I like the original hook best but that sentences needs a ref right after the full stop. Consider to put the MBE as an honourific suffix after his name. --Gerda Arendt (talk) 12:06, 1 March 2018 (UTC)

• Clearly I'm from a bygone time when people were trusted at their word with QPQs and didn't have to spell it out in full each time.
