- Not to step on your review, SL93, but I don't think the hook is particularly interesting, unfortunately. If this were flat terrain, curving 18 times in 4 miles would be an interesting fact. However, many railroads in Connecticut are like this, and several railroad lines contain more frequent curves. Perhaps another hook could be suggested. Epicgenius (talk) 14:04, 1 October 2022 (UTC)
- Epicgenius It's fine. I value the input because I am not as familiar with the topic. I have updated the interesting part of the template. SL93 (talk) 19:34, 1 October 2022 (UTC)

Thank you for the input Epicgenius, I'll draft an ALT1 when I get the chance.
SL93,This is only my fourth DYK nomination, I thought you didn't need to do a QPQ until after 5? Regarding TylerCityStation, yes, it is technically a self-published source. However, it's run by prominent Connecticut railroad historian Robert Belletzkie Here's a New Haven Register article from 2009 detailing his work. In addition, the material on the website is generally well-sourced to both primary and secondary sources. For example, the entry on the Ridgefield Station is sourced to this book], an article from the New Haven Railroad Historical and Technical Association's Shoreliner Magazine, and local accounts of the depot's restructuring. So in conclusion, I don't think the nature of the source's publication undermines its reliability in this case.--🚂Locomotive207-talk🚂 21:01, 1 October 2022 (UTC)
- Locomotive207 I updated the QPQ. I will approve the source as written by an expert in the field. I recommend including that information in the nomination whenever similar sources are used. Just waiting on a new hook. SL93 (talk) 22:44, 1 October 2022 (UTC)
