Rebellion of the Alpujarras (1499–1501)
[edit]- ... that the Muslims of Granada revolted against their Catholic rulers seven years after the conquest of Granada, triggered by forced conversions imposed by Cardinal Cisneros?
- Reviewed: According to WP:WIADYK, if I have less than five DYK credits, I am exempt from the QPQ requirement?

- Nominated 2 days after creation, so easily new enough. At 8500+ charachters, nearly 6x long enough. Article is written in a neutral, dispassionate manner. Each paragraph is sourced using inline citations. No copying or close paraphrasing detected. The hook is within format, is interesting, and can be directly attributed to the sources. As a new DYK editor, the QPQ is not required, but based on the quality of this article I hope the creator endeavors in this area in the future. No image to check against. This is a very well-written article, full of clearly explained background and historical context. This article is highly deserving of main page exposure. 78.26 (spin me / revolutions) 18:33, 22 December 2015 (UTC)
