Portland Hotel Society

[edit]
Reviewed: Template:Did you know nominations/Elliott Corbett Memorial State Recreation Site

  • Date, length and hook are good, but the fact mentioned in the hook doesn't have a citation. A QPQ review should also be done. 97198 (talk) 09:45, 21 March 2014 (UTC)
  • Number of References for article including a judgement by the Supreme Court of Canada validate PHS as operating Insite, the opening date and it being a first. To make fact-checking easier, I added a reference that contains all 3 points to a sentence similar to the hook in the Insite section of the article. Thanks for due diligence. Canuckle (talk) 17:22, 22 March 2014 (UTC)
  • The new ref still doesn't mention that it was "North America's first" (at least not that I can see; correct me if I'm wrong). 97198 (talk) 11:49, 23 March 2014 (UTC)
  • Sorry. that one said still Canada's only. Have added another reference to the lead sentence that also says "North America's first".
  • Great. We're still waiting on a QPQ review, then the hook will be good to go. 97198 (talk) 09:40, 25 March 2014 (UTC)
  • Thanks. I reviewed numerous DYK years ago when I was more active. Recently confirmed a Devil's Head in Queen Elizabeth's hair. Cheers. Canuckle (talk) 19:31, 25 March 2014 (UTC)
  • Canuckle, a full review is needed: length/expansion, newness, hook length and sourcing: indeed, everything listed above the edit window when you edit this template, including neutrality and copyvio/close paraphrasing. It isn't enough to comment on one thing; a quid pro quo review has to be complete. The Devil's Head does not qualify. BlueMoonset (talk) 03:01, 27 March 2014 (UTC)
  • QPQ done - good to go. 97198 (talk) 04:24, 1 April 2014 (UTC)
