Plaka Bridge
[edit]- ... that the Plaka Bridge (pictured) in western Greece, the largest one-arch stone bridge in the Balkans, survived bombing by the Luftwaffe but was destroyed by floods on 1 February 2015?

- The article is almost perfect. Just one small question. Is the journal name ΠΕΡΙΟΔΙΚΗ ΕΠΙΘΕPΡΗΣΙΣ misspelled? Google only yields two results (both referring to this page). Should it be ΠΕΡΙΟΔΙΚΗ ΕΠΙΘΕΩΡΗΣΗ? If so, could you please provide its translation or transliteration? And who publishes that journal? --Երևանցի talk 14:53, 6 February 2015 (UTC)
- I've fixed this. It appears to be a publication of a local cultural society of Arta. I don't know if it really qualifies as a WP:RS, but it is not used in the article either way. Constantine ✍ 15:33, 6 February 2015 (UTC)
- The article is long enough (2,768 characters) and new enough (created on February 1, and nominated on February 6). It is well sourced. The hook is interesting and also supported by sources. The image seems is OK to use. Question to Constantine: don't you have to do QPQ? --Երևանցի talk 16:27, 6 February 2015 (UTC)
- Well, other than a few copyedits, I didn't really contribute much to the article. Constantine ✍ 16:47, 6 February 2015 (UTC)
- I personally agree with you, but Wikipedia guidelines say that "For every nomination you make you must review one other nomination" ... (whether or not self-nominated) ... --Երևանցի talk 18:54, 6 February 2015 (UTC)
- Odd, I was under the impression that non-self-noms were exempt. Apparently I was mistaken, or I remember a situation from very far back. OK, I'll go in search of a QPQ. Constantine ✍ 19:38, 6 February 2015 (UTC)
- Done, I reviewed Castelldefels Castle. Constantine ✍ 20:04, 6 February 2015 (UTC)
