Pinchinthorpe railway station
[edit]- ... that Pinchinthorpe railway station closed thirteen years before the rest of the Middlesbrough and Guisborough Railway fell victim to the Beeching Axe?
5x expanded by Prioryman (talk). Self-nominated at 20:13, 1 January 2017 (UTC).
- Expansion started on 26 December 2016, and nominated on 1 January 2017, expanded enough (541 chars to 2911 chars), and article is within policy.
- Hook is short enough, interesting, within policy, and has inline citations (AGF on offline sources).
- QPQ exempt, as Prioryman has 0 previous DYKs.
- Overall, this nomination passes, congratulations. Joseph2302 (talk) 12:43, 2 January 2017 (UTC)
- @Prioryman: I was going to promote this but found that not all the hook facts are in the article and cited, because the Beeching Axe is not mentioned in the article. Either you will need to add it to the article and cite it, or you will need to rewrite the hook to leave it out. Cwmhiraeth (talk) 19:31, 16 January 2017 (UTC)
- Oh well, that's easily resolved. I added it to the article; it's already covered by the cited reference. Prioryman (talk) 00:35, 18 January 2017 (UTC)
- Replacing tick now this has been actioned. Cwmhiraeth (talk) 09:45, 18 January 2017 (UTC)
