Overall: As noted above in the checklist, this article does not satisfy the guideline under "Article point 1" for eligibility. - Favre1fan93 (talk) 00:09, 9 April 2018 (UTC)
- Favre1fan93, this article has been properly expanded. Before I began my expansion, the article had 306 characters. When I finished, it had 2441 characters. I suggest manually comparing the character counts, since the DYK tool only looks at expansion "within the past 10 days (12 days)". Ruby2010 (talk) 17:10, 9 April 2018 (UTC)
- @Ruby2010: My apologies. I'm not sure why I overlooked the first of your edits on March 27, and only looked to the additions starting on March 30. That being the case, yes this article and DYK is eligible. Just waiting on the QPQ, and then this will be good to go. - Favre1fan93 (talk) 00:14, 10 April 2018 (UTC)
- (Finally) added my QPQ. Sorry for the delay, Favre1fan93! Ruby2010 (talk) 21:47, 21 April 2018 (UTC)

- Hi, I came by to promote this, but I have a question about the hook. It would read better this way:
- ALT1:
... that Penny Rose, the designer of Johnny Depp's costumes in the Pirates of the Caribbean film series, has been credited with reviving the "long-dead genre" of pirate wear? - But "pirate wear" is also part of the quote from the source. It would be better if it had its own blue link. Personally, I think the fact about how many costumes she produced for 47 Ronin would make a better hook. Yoninah (talk) 18:36, 23 April 2018 (UTC)
- I like that idea, Yoninah; how about this:
- ALT2:
... that during the production of 47 Ronin, Penny Rose oversaw the creation of 998 costumes and 400 suits of armour?Ruby2010 (talk) 03:01, 24 April 2018 (UTC)
- ALT2:
- I like ALT2, but just feel "costume designer" should be added before mentioning Rose's name to give her some quick context. So in full:
- ALT2a ... that
duringfor the production of 47 Ronin, costume designer Penny Rose oversaw the creation of 998 costumes and 400 suits of armour? - Favre1fan93 (talk) 03:21, 24 April 2018 (UTC)
- @Favre1fan93: I agree, ALT2a works great! I changed one word. You could go ahead and approve it, and then I'll promote it. Thanks, Yoninah (talk) 11:24, 24 April 2018 (UTC)
