Hi White Shadows, review follows:

  • 5x expansion confirmed between 22 June and 28 June;
  • article is well written and cited inline throughout to reliable sources;
  • most sources are offline but I noticed that the following extracts are identical or near identical in the article and this website so will need to be explained or checked:
    • "En route to the harbour at Islana, north of Ragusa, to rendezvous with the battleships Viribus Unitis and Prinz Eugen for the coordinated attack on the Otranto Barrage,"
    • At about 3:15 am on 10 June, two Italian MAS boats, MAS 15 and MAS 21, spotted the smoke from the Austrian ships while returning from an uneventful patrol off the Dalmatian coast."
    • "Both boats successfully penetrated the escort screen and split to engage each of the dreadnoughts."
    • "MAS 15 fired her two torpedoes successfully at 3:25 am at Szent István. Szent István was hit by two torpedoes abreast her boiler rooms."
    • "Szent István was hit by two torpedoes abreast her boiler rooms"
  • hooks are backed up by inline citations in the article but these are offline so I will AGF that they cover them, I prefer ALT0, ALT1 might be improved by adding "future Regent of Hungary" or similar to make it clear the importance of Horthy;
  • I am not sure that the image (taken in 1917) can be claimed as PD-70 without further information on the author, there is a good chance the photographer would still be alive in 1948 - as the image isn't required for either hook I am happy to pass this without the image if needed;
  • A QPQ review is required - Dumelow (talk) 15:16, 18 July 2018 (UTC)
  • To reconfirm Dumelow's comment, a QPQ (quid pro quo) review is required, as White Shadows has at least five prior DYK credits. Since nominations are not supposed to receive an approval tick until all the requirements are met, including the QPQ, I have superseded the AGF tick with a more appropriate icon. • Ive never used that website before so I have to assume that text came from the bits of the article which existed before I expanded it. I can definitely reword all of these clips though. I will get to conducting a QPQ as soon as possible, though this is my first DYK in 6 years so I’m VERY rusty. My family is currently going through an emergency atm that has kept me offline the past few days. Hoping to be able to get back to editing later this weekend.—White Shadows Let’s Talk 04:18, 19 July 2018 (UTC)
Thanks BlueMoonset, I must have copied the wrong symbol down and didn't notice (doh!) - I have replaced it with the one I had intended. White Shadows: No problem, just ping me when you are ready. I am on holiday next week but can look again when I return. With regards the extracts I found it may well be that the other website copied from us, but I can't prove it either way. Welcome back to DYK! - Dumelow (talk) 08:09, 19 July 2018 (UTC)
I've changed the image to one that I know is PD. I've also altered the second hook to include mentioning that Horthy was the future Regent of Hungary. If all the article/hook issues are addressed, I'll get to conducting a QPQ now. QPQ is complete.--White Shadows Let’s Talk 21:03, 19 July 2018 (UTC)
Nice work White Shadows, all my queries have been resolved satisfactorily - Dumelow (talk) 07:25, 20 July 2018 (UTC)
