  • Not reviewing, but can tell you that the hook is too pedestrian for DYK. You could propose another one, and I've suggested one below Kingsif (talk) 18:20, 20 April 2019 (UTC)
  • ALT1: ... that Swedish businesswoman Nina Lagergren (pictured) never gave up the search for her half-brother, who disappeared in Hungary after rescuing Jews from the Nazis?
A drive-by comment, but I don't really consider the first hook as pedestrian considering Annan was a well-known figure around the world. With that said, it could have been better, and Kingsif's proposal isn't bad either. Narutolovehinata5 tccsdnew 01:23, 9 May 2019 (UTC)
  • Most of the text is not about the subject of the article and is copied and pasted from here. Without that, it would not be long enough. At this late stage, I am not sure if there is a fix for this. Moonraker (talk) 11:05, 9 May 2019 (UTC)
I can withdraw this nom. And work on it for overall improvement.BabbaQ (talk) 11:13, 9 May 2019 (UTC)
    • BabbaQ I think there are two issues here. First, the text needs to be mostly original, not a copyright violation, and second, it needs to be mostly about Lagergren. If you withdraw the nomination, I am not sure you will be able to resubmit it later, several weeks after starting the article. Better to re-write it and come back to this page. Moonraker (talk) 11:20, 9 May 2019 (UTC)
      • I think the rewrite will take some time. And the article has already been featured at ITN RD recently. If you think the nom can remain open for some time more then I can certainly do a rewrite, but otherwise it is OK if you close it. Your call. Regards.BabbaQ (talk) 11:22, 9 May 2019 (UTC)
        • OK, I have decided to let the DYK nom continue. So improvements can be made. Thanks.BabbaQ (talk) 11:39, 9 May 2019 (UTC)
          • Quick comment; Alchetron is a full Wikipedia mirror, usually decorated with images scraped from other sources. There is an attempt at license compliance at the bottom of each page which attributes the original source as here. Kuru (talk) 12:13, 9 May 2019 (UTC)
  • Ok close this nom as I realise there are issues that will have to be taken care of. Thanks.BabbaQ (talk) 12:39, 9 May 2019 (UTC)
