Niels Kaas
[edit]- ... that Niels Kaas (pictured) was the chancellor of Denmark during the late 1500s?

- Article is long enough and new enough. Some uncited paragraphs which mean that the article can't pass at present. The opening sentence of the article is rather weak - it doesn't really set the scene ("he was a Danish chancellor" - "what does that mean?", thinks the reader. If you read on, you discover he was the Chancellor of Denmark for over 20 years and a rather powerful man!) BencherliteTalk 07:15, 26 May 2012 (UTC)
- The paragraphs were translated (see talk page). - Presidentman talk · contribs Random Picture of the Day (Talkback) 21:50, 27 May 2012 (UTC)
- The intro has also been updated. - Presidentman talk · contribs Random Picture of the Day (Talkback) 21:55, 27 May 2012 (UTC)
- Thanks for improving the introduction, but if the uncited paragraphs can't be or won't be given references, or we're just relying on a foreign Wikipedia as a source, then this won't be appearing on DYK per D2 and D4. BencherliteTalk 09:24, 28 May 2012 (UTC)

- . Good to go. Checked what I could of the source using Google Translate and couldn't see problems with verification. Image is fine for main page use as well. I've copyedited the text but not, I hope, altered the sense in any places. Thanks for responding so positively! BencherliteTalk 14:20, 29 May 2012 (UTC)
