Mustang wine
[edit]- ... that mustang wine has been made from wild mustang grapes since the Antebellum Era in Texas?

- It's new enough, the sources seem good and the main points including the hook are cited. The hook is interesting and it is within policy. However, it's a bit short - I count circa 1300 characters of prose, so I think a sentence or two more should do the trick. Also, I can't see a QPQ but perhaps this is one of the author's first DYKs? - The DYK tool gives 1582 characters. I'll donate a QPQ: Template:Did you know nominations/Wheal Eliza Mine.— alf laylah wa laylah (talk) 02:59, 17 June 2014 (UTC)
- I personally don't think there is any need to be overly strict about the length requirement, but others might think otherwise so I'd just want to point out that the last section of the article is more of a list, really, while the 1500 characters requirement is for prose. If everyone is OK with the article length as it is, I'm all for letting it pass, but it might be better to play safe than having it removed off the queue. A few more sentences shouldn't be too hard to write. Still, I leave it to someone else to determine. Very kind with the donated QPQ, also! Yakikaki (talk) 14:25, 17 June 2014 (UTC)
