Music from the Merch Desk (2016–2023)
- ... that the cover art of Music from the Merch Desk (2016–2023) was taken from a bootleg T-shirt?
- Source: "The near transcendentally awful cover art of this 38-track compilation, released with little fanfare this week, will already be familiar to hardcore Aphex Twin fans. Intrigued by a crappy southern hip-hop-style knockoff T-shirt flooding Etsy, team AFX simply made its own “meme top” to sell at recent festival appearances." https://www.theguardian.com/music/2024/dec/18/aphex-twin-music-from-the-merch-desk-2016-2023-review-afx

Overall: @Beachweak: Nice work on this article. There is one issue with the hook but everything else looks good to go. Epicgenius (talk) 14:42, 19 December 2024 (UTC)
- @Epicgenius: I updated the article to support the hook, don't know how I missed that! If that doesn't work, I think "... that the cover art of Music from the Merch Desk (2016–2023) was derived from bootleg merchandise?" would also be a suitable hook. Let me know what you think :) Beachweak (talk) 14:53, 19 December 2024 (UTC)
- Thanks for making the changes. The second hook (marked above as ALT1) is good to go.
I've stricken out the first hook to clarify this to the promoter.Epicgenius (talk) 15:04, 19 December 2024 (UTC)- Actually, scratch that. I didn't read the Guardian source too closely. The original hook is also good to go. Epicgenius (talk) 15:06, 19 December 2024 (UTC)
