Mountain trogon
[edit]... that the mountain trogon (male pictured) makes its cavity nest by chewing into rotting stumps or branches?
ALT1:... that the area where mountain trogons bred in El Salvador was ceded to Honduras in 1992, so the species now occurs in El Salvador only as a vagrant?
- ALT2:... that the mountain trogon (male pictured) excavates its cavity nest by chewing into rotting wood or uses a pre-existing hole?
- ALT3:... that the mountain trogon (male pictured) either excavates its own cavity nest by chewing into rotting wood or uses a pre-existing hole?

- This article is new enough and long enough. I have struck ALT1 as being less interesting and added ALT2 as a more accurate alternative. I have also added (male pictured) to the hook. The image is appropriately licensed, the article is neutral and I detected no close paraphrasing. Cwmhiraeth (talk) 06:56, 11 February 2015 (UTC)
- New reviewer needed for ALT2, since it adds a new fact to the original hook (which should probably be struck if ALT2 is more accurate). BlueMoonset (talk) 15:38, 11 February 2015 (UTC)
