[edit]- ... that filmmaker Michelle Parkerson has been called "a visionary risk taker"?

- "a visionary risk taker" attracted me to the article, which is long enough and new enough and well sourced. I don't quite understand "black lesbian filmmaker" as a quote, while footnote 24 in ref 2 says "... she never openly admitted she was lesbian", - I don't find the source for the quote. Please make a section Career and have a short summary as a lead. - English is not my first language, I don't understand "Parkerson's "love note" Lorde in The Feminist Wire reflects the activist motivation of her own filmmaking": "love note"? "activist motivation"? film title italic, no? Please get rid of the ALL CAPS in ref titles. Do you hate infoboxes? (Some do.) --Gerda Arendt (talk) 21:05, 15 August 2014 (UTC)
- I think that I've addressed all of your points. I've dropped "black lesbian" from hook and article, especially as it is a BLP. I've reworded the "love note" bit. And added an infobox - I prefer articles with them, and should try to find the time to add them more often. Just a QPQ to do. Edwardx (talk) 20:38, 19 August 2014 (UTC)
