Michael Norgrove

[edit]
  • ... that Zambian-British boxer Michael Norgrove had an unbeaten professional record at the time of his death in April 2013?

Created/expanded by Paul MacDermott (talk). Self nominated at 13:34, 7 April 2013 (UTC).

  • Good references, new enough, long enough, etc. No concerns with the article. Question on the first hook though: Was the stopped bout ruled no contest, or a win for his opponent? I am assuming the former, but if the latter, then that hook is not correct. The second hook would be fine, but I think the fact that he was the first boxing death in the UK in nearly two decades is the most interesting hook, sadly. Perhaps this: ALT2: ... that the boxing-related death of Michael Norgrove was the first in the United Kingdom in 18 years? Resolute 01:20, 11 April 2013 (UTC)
  • ALT2 sounds fine if we go with that one. If it hasn't been done already I'll add the Independent ref and mention the no contest result for his last fight. Cheers Paul MacDermott (talk) 09:36, 11 April 2013 (UTC)
  • Ok, any of the three are fine then as all are supported. Let me know which you prefer, as it is your nomination. Thanks, Resolute 13:44, 11 April 2013 (UTC)
  • Thanks, I think alt2 is probably the most interesting, followed by the original, so either of those would be ok Paul MacDermott (talk) 14:02, 11 April 2013 (UTC)
