Mexican barbasco trade

[edit]

Created/expanded by Maunus (talk). Self nom at 17:01, 30 April 2012 (UTC)

  • Prose size, picture license, hook size, creation date OK. For the offline references (article and hook), AGF. Good to go for me! Alex2006 (talk) 07:59, 1 May 2012 (UTC)
  • Couple of problems here. First, hook says 1970s, article says 1960s. Second, hook is cited to pages 72 and 73 of this source, but the information does not appear on those pages. Nikkimaria (talk) 15:48, 5 May 2012 (UTC)
Its on page 37 - and actually the way it is worded it is ambiguous whether the number is valid for both 70es and 60es - the safest is probably to say "by 1974" which is the wording used in the book. I'll change the page number of the sourcing.·ʍaunus·snunɐw· 16:51, 7 May 2012 (UTC)
  • Issues are resolved now. The hook fact is properly sourced to page 37. Interesting article! --Orlady (talk) 16:26, 12 May 2012 (UTC) PS - I edited the hook wording to change "Mexican steroid industry" to "pharmaceutical industry", both to avoid repeating "Mexican" and to make it clear that these were legal drugs. --Orlady (talk) 16:29, 12 May 2012 (UTC)
Good change - I'll add indigenous as a descriptor to peasants.— Preceding unsigned comment added by Maunus (talkcontribs) 16:33, 2012 May 12 (UTC)
