5x expanded by Maculosae tegmine lyncis (talk). Self-nominated at 14:31, 27 August 2020 (UTC).
- It would be good to include more pictures of the gallery itself, as this type of inter-war architecture is very interesting merlinVtwelve (talk) 03:10, 28 August 2020 (UTC)
- Hello, agreed - and thanks for forcing me to look further afield in order to be able to extend this article x5! Maculosae tegmine lyncis (talk) 12:57, 2 September 2020 (UTC)

... that Meiji Memorial Picture Gallery (pictured) near Tokyo's Meiji Shrine has forty Nihonga and forty Yōga commemorating the life of the Meiji Emperor and events of the Meiji era?
- This article is a five-fold expansion and was not long enough when nominated but is now. The images are appropriately licensed and the hook facts are cited inline, and either of the hooks could be used. The article is neutral and I detected no copyright issues. A QPQ has been done. - I know, ain't it swell... Go on then, how about, Maculosae tegmine lyncis (talk) 20:15, 5 September 2020 (UTC)

... that Meiji Memorial Picture Gallery (pictured) near the shrine to the same in Tokyo has forty Nihonga and forty Yōga commemorating the honorand's life and the events of his era?- Well, now you're using expressions that are more obscure. Let's just go back to the original hook, extend the bolded link, reduce some of the overlinking, and run it with an image:
- ALT0a: ... that a gallery of 80 paintings near Meiji Shrine in Tokyo commemorates the life and times of the Meiji Emperor, including his viewing of cherry blossoms (illustrated)?
- Restoring tick for ALT0a with image. Yoninah (talk) 21:25, 5 September 2020 (UTC)
- @Maculosae tegmine lyncis: Hi again. I just noticed that the whole chart of paintings lacks citations, per Rule D2. There is nothing to indicate that each painting is housed in this museum. Yoninah (talk) 21:52, 5 September 2020 (UTC)
- Sorry, yes, I think you're right - I have added a reference at the top that covers all eighty, thank you, Maculosae tegmine lyncis (talk) 22:20, 5 September 2020 (UTC)
