- Comment: Suggested two versions of the same hook: the original one bold links the singer article (which was created by another user recently) and also uses the image (uploaded by the same user); ALT1 does not mention the singer and does not include the image. If the singer's article (Alamgir Khan (singer)) and the image are suitable for DYK, we can go with the original hook. If not, I am fine with ALT1.
Also is it possible to run it on 14/15 August when Pakistan/India celebrate their respective Independence Days?

- Article is new enough and long enough. Sourcing looks fairly good as well. No copyvio concerns, quotes are cited appropriately. I'm not sure about the hook. I had a look and I didn't see anything in the DYK rules or supplementary about hooks consisting mainly of a quote from a source, so I don't know how acceptable it is. I've never seen it before though so I don't think it's customary. I also think if we're going to use the singer's photo, he needs to be mentioned in the hook. I've proposed two alternate hooks (ALT2 & ALT3), one of which paraphrases the original without quoting, and the second of which mentions the singer. ♠PMC♠ (talk) 22:46, 9 August 2017 (UTC)
- @Premeditated Chaos: Thanks for the review. I am fine with ALT2 and ALT3 in case the first two hooks are not acceptable. Dee03 14:28, 10 August 2017 (UTC)
- @Premeditated Chaos: So is there any other issue with the nom, or is this good to go? Dee03 16:09, 12 August 2017 (UTC)
