Master Sword
- ... that Nintendo's The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword was designed to be an origin story for the Master Sword? Source: "It’s then that Aonuma reveals that the desire to tell a Zelda "origin" story can be attributed to a much greater desire to build a story around the game’s motion controls. "This time, the theme is the sword which makes use of the Wii MotionPlus accessory," says Aonuma. "When you think of a sword in The Legend of Zelda, you think of the Master Sword. Rather early on, we decided to address the origin of the Master Sword." (https://www.denofgeek.com/games/legend-of-zelda-skyward-sword-origin-story-explained-problems-plot-holes/)

- Article was nominated within 7 days of expansion. It is more than 1,500 characters in prose. Text is neutral for the most, with statements properly cited. Earwig is giving me a 53.4% chance of copyright violation but there is a chance that this is a false positive as it keeps picking up the "The Legend of Zelda" title. I will have to say the "alternate names" in the lead should not be in bold as there are no redirects to it. The hook is a little bit wordy and I would just pick between focusing on its use in motion controls or the origin story, not both. lullabying (talk) 21:49, 3 October 2021 (UTC)
- Thanks for the comments. I have removed the boldface in the lead and shortened the hook as suggested to focus on the origin story. I hope that is everything needed for approval. Fieryninja (talk) 22:00, 3 October 2021 (UTC)
