Thanks for the review, SL93! I removed the Find a Grave cite; reference [1] in the article is sufficient.
I believe that covers everything... the hook is directly sited. The link says, "'The story of Mary Winder is the story of the Nation,' said Ray, Nation Representative", with Ray being identified in the previous sentence as Arthur Raymond Halbritter (who went by Ray).
Let me know if there is anything else to address! = paul2520 💬 21:34, 2 April 2022 (UTC)
I'm not sure if the quote with the hook information needs to be changed because the DYK rules say that the citation needs to be right after the sentence that contains the fact. Pinging theleekycauldron for their thoughts. SL93 (talk) 01:18, 3 April 2022 (UTC)
Well, my hang-up would be that neither the article nor this source mention the name "arthur" at all. if that's cleared up, I'm all good :) theleekycauldron (talkcontribs) (she/they) 05:26, 3 April 2022 (UTC)
Thanks for pointing that out. Another thing is that the sentence at the end of 1940s Letters needs to be referenced. I do realize that the information is cited in the next sentence under a new section, but I forgot the DYK rule about the end of each section needing a citation. Sorry about that. SL93 No need to apologize! I added the cite.
SL93/Theleekycauldron: I see the confusion. Arthur Raymond Halbritter was known as Ray; this is clear in his article & I also updated Winder's to identify him better. Would it be better to say "Arthur "Ray" Halbritter in the hook? = paul2520 💬 17:44, 3 April 2022 (UTC)
I think a compromise would be to add a citation with his full name after the sentence where he is first mentioned such as C-SPAN. SL93 (talk) 17:48, 3 April 2022 (UTC)
SL93 I see what you mean! How does this edit look? = paul2520 💬 00:57, 4 April 2022 (UTC)
