Lui Tsun-Yuen

[edit]
  • ... that composer Lui Tsun-Yuen adapted the English ballad "Greensleeves" for Chinese musical instruments? Source: "'Greensleeves', arranged for the Chinese lute (pipa) by Tsun Yuen Lui. This is also a form of tablature...the two lines of characters in each column represent the pitch (indicated in cipher notation using numerals) and the right-hand plucking technique to be used." [1]

  • Article is new enough, long enough, neutral and well referenced. Hook is interesting and verified with reference. Good to go. QPQ is done. -Zanhe (talk) 05:52, 17 November 2017 (UTC)
  • Hi, I came by to promote this, and everything looks good, but the third link in the hook is redirecting to Music of China. Wouldn't it be hookier to say:
  • ALT0a: ... that Chinese classical musician Lui Tsun-Yuen adapted the English ballad "Greensleeves" for the pipa? Yoninah (talk) 00:02, 3 December 2017 (UTC)
@Yoninah: thanks. ALT0a sounds better. Good to go. -Zanhe (talk) 00:23, 3 December 2017 (UTC)
