  • ... that plankton studies of the reservoir (pictured) has confirmed that the biodiversity of the zooplankton has maintained the ecological balance of the water body and made it free of pollution?

  • Long enough. New enough. Well cited. Neutral tone. But some facts need to be tightened up to be in line with cited sources. For example, in the location section, "the balance is free catchment" is off; according to the source, the balance is intercepted. In the Reservoir fisheries section, it's 53 species, not 52. Other than those minor typos, it's good. Please correct them. Hybernator (talk) 21:28, 16 August 2015 (UTC)
  • Long enough. New enough. Well cited. Neutral tone. Hook is cited. GTG. Hybernator (talk) 22:18, 18 August 2015 (UTC)
  • I have pulled this from prep as I couldn't verify the hook. It might be in the provided source somewhere but since a page number wasn't provided that is too difficult to determine. However, the source conclusion states that "huge diversity of zooplankton in Lower Manair reservoir indicates there is not pollution and plays a vital role in aquatic ecology" which is not the same thing as the zooplankton "ma[king] it free of pollution" as stated in the hook; the source conclusion is saying that the diversity of zooplankton indicates a lack of pollution, it doesn't say it causes it. Nor does "plays a vital role in aquatic ecology" equate to "maintained the ecological balance of the water". Also, the hook should have identified the water body by name, not simply referred to it generally as "the reservoir", which implies all reservoirs. So either a page number will be requred to confirm the hook, or a new hook will need to be proposed. Gatoclass (talk) 06:41, 19 August 2015 (UTC)
  • @Gatoclass: I have corrected the text in view of your above comments. Ref is provided with page numbers. The original hook is corrected as ALT1 Hook as ... that plankton studies of the Lower Manair Dam (pictured) has confirmed the usefulness of the rich biodiversity of the zooplankton in making the stored water fit for multipurpose uses? Another ALT2 Hook is ... that in view of drowning incidents and hooliganism problems, security around India's Lower Manair Dam (pictured) has been intensified? Nvvchar
  • ALT1 is still misstating the source in the same way so I have struck it. Haven't checked ALT2 yet. Gatoclass (talk) 06:39, 20 August 2015 (UTC)
  • I was hoping to add a little more to this article but haven't found the time, in which case I will simply confirm ALT2. Gatoclass (talk) 14:51, 8 September 2015 (UTC)
