List of lighthouses in Maine

[edit]

Created/expanded by Mangoe (talk). Self nom at 22:38, 25 August 2012 (UTC)

  • Article moved from user space on August 25, 2012, but only has 1,254 characters of readable prose. Very nice List Class article on Maine lighthouses, with great images, but DYK Check does not count characters in the list. Please expand lead to bring it up to 1,500 characters.
  • Expanded with material about the Maine Lights Program. I count some 2400 DYK characters. Mangoe (talk) 03:12, 28 August 2012 (UTC)

  • 2,475 readable characters as of right now.
  • First paragraph needs sourcing
  • I have cited the historical list as the authority for inclusion in the table. The numbers came from counting and do not need to be sourced.
  • Hook needs slight re-working. "...completed after independence..." is a vague time frame

  • OK, how about
Mangoe (talk) 13:59, 28 August 2012 (UTC)
I think you and I might be thinking in different directions. My comment meant that even 2012 is after independence from Great Britain. That's why I thought it was vague. But perhaps what you are conveying is:
If that's what you are saying, we could go with it worded as Alt 2. The hook would be 183 characters. Maile66 (talk)
That would be OK. Mangoe (talk) 15:22, 28 August 2012 (UTC)
