Leptopsammia pruvoti

[edit]

Sunset cup coral

  • ... that the breeding strategy of the sunset cup coral (pictured) involves high fecundity, a short embryonic incubation time, small planula larvae and rapid maturation?

  • Article is long enough; neutral; cites sources with inline citations; appears to be free of copyright violations. QPQ confirmed. Images are both free to use. My only concern is the hook could be a lot hookier, focusing on something both surprising and intriguing to a lay person. I've provided a new hook (ALT1) as a replacement. Assuming no concerns with it, this DYK is good to go! [Note: This is my first DYK review, so it would probably be good to have a second editor's opinion on this... Thanks.] Girona7 (talk) 19:01, 27 December 2014 (UTC)
I am happy with ALT1, and will make a (probably stub) article for the barnacle. Cwmhiraeth (talk) 09:43, 28 December 2014 (UTC)
Great! This is now good to go, using ALT1 hook, which is properly sourced within the article. Girona7 (talk) 23:18, 30 December 2014 (UTC)
