Typical good work from Hawkeye7. Would suggest these alt hooks to use a play on words with the better-known Long Island:

"... that U.S. and Australian troops invaded Long Island in 1943?"
"... that there was an amphibious invasion of Long Island in 1943? Ed ^{[talk] [majestic titan]} 04:41, 12 June 2017 (UTC)
