La figlia del diavolo

[edit]
  • ... that the 1952 Italian film La figlia del diavolo was remade as Devil's Daughter in the United States in 1978?

Created/expanded by Dr. Blofeld (talk), LauraHale (talk), Ipigott (talk). Nominated by LauraHale (talk) at 20:43, 8 October 2012 (UTC)

  • New enough expansion at time of nomination. Article is completely supported by inline citations (plot does not need to be sourced). Is properly formatted. No plagiarism concerns. No image concerns. Article is neutral enough and reads like similar articles. I don't think it reads as overly commercial given its focus. Appears notable. Article looks good to go. -- Cheers, Riley Huntley 21:03, 8 October 2012 (UTC)
  • I have pulled this one from prep because on examination I found serious inaccuracies involving conflation of 3 different works with the same title. The mention of Rise Stephens refers to an opera by Virgilio Mortari; see it:Risë Stevens. (The Time link is broken but the text comes up on a Google search and clearly refers to an opera.) The film does not take place at La Scala (although it may be based on the opera's plot - which might explain the "devil's castle" thing.) The supposed remake that is the hook fact, although it has the identical title in Italian, has a completely different plot - see the cited Italian source. It involves a woman bearing the Devil's daughter. Please find other information on this film and another hook. Yngvadottir (talk) 19:24, 14 October 2012 (UTC)
Erk. :( Didn't write most of the text that is involved there. Will leave to Dr. Blofeld and Ipigott to address as not my area of specialty. --LauraHale (talk) 20:21, 14 October 2012 (UTC)
