- @Theleekycauldron: If you think it's 'hookier'. The reason I named al-Hakim—and I realize this cannot explained in the hook—is that "al-Ḥākim's policies and actions were probably the most extreme in the history of Coptic relations with Muslims in Egypt," according to the cited source (pp. 5–6). If we had an article on al-Hakim's religious policies, I'd have linked that, but the closest we've got is an article on the most famous episode, the destruction of the Church of the Holy Sepulchre in 1009.
