Kesagami Provincial Park, Kesagami Lake
- ... that the shores of Kesagami Lake in Kesagami Provincial Park (northern Ontario, Canada) are surrounded by "exceptional" peat cliffs (pictured) reaching 4 metres (13 ft) in height? Source: Selected Water Resources Abstracts: "The most unusual features of the shores of Kesagami Lake are the Peat bluffs up to 4 m in height. They have been recognized for almost a century and remain exceptional for Ontario." / Report of the Bureau of Mines 1904: "The most extraordinary feature about the lake is the fact that its shores are almost entirely surrounded by cliffs of peat which rise above the water sometimes only a few feet, but often twelve or fourteen feet in height."

QPQ: - This nomination consists of two articles, so you need to review two articles to obtain credit for this nomination. It doesn't really matter whether it's one nomination with two articles or two nominations with one article each. However, Template:Did you know nominations/Qnat only counts for one article, so you need to review one more article.
Overall: @P199: Nice work on these articles. There are a few issues that need to be resolved before I can approve this nomination. Epicgenius (talk) 23:51, 10 March 2023 (UTC)
- @Epicgenius: Thanks for your review. I have done a 2nd QPQ (Freedom (concert)). Yes, the source does specifically say "exceptional" (see quoted source above), so I have added quotation marks in the articles. Regards, P 1 9 9 ✉ 15:03, 13 March 2023 (UTC)
- @P199: No problem. Thanks for doing the second QPQ and for putting "exceptional" in quotes. I am approving this nomination now. Epicgenius (talk) 15:49, 13 March 2023 (UTC)
Comment: the peat cliffs are quite unique. It would be good therefore to include the image in the DYK... -- P 1 9 9 ✉ 15:31, 10 April 2023 (UTC)
