Katherine Cutler Ficken

[edit]

Created by Alafarge (talk). Nominated by OluwaCurtis (talk) at 16:26, 27 October 2015 (UTC).

  • The article is new, long enough at 2,186 chars of prose, and cited inline. However, the last sentence of the first paragraph in the "Early life and education" section and the last sentence of the "Career" section lack a reference. The article is neutral, but relies mostly on one source. According to "Dup detector", it is free of close paraphrasing issues, copyright violations and plagiarism. The hook is short enough, interesting and its fact is cited inline. No QPQ was done by the nominator, who has no user page now. Good to go after adding the missing refs. I appreciate the nomination. I have added the indicated missing references, but I don't believe I can do much about the dearth of sources on this page. I have been trying to find more but so far without much luck. I will see if I can get hold of the 1935 Washington Post article on her. Sources tend to be scarce for this early cohort of American women architects.Alafarge (talk) 16:50, 28 October 2015 (UTC)
