Jorge Alonso

[edit]

2x expanded and sourced (BLP) by Royroydeb (talk). Self-nominated at 17:08, 23 November 2015 (UTC).

  • The article was previously a one line, unreferenced stub. It has been more than 2x expanded and referenced added. The article is long enough (was 136 characters, 1987 characters at time of nomination) and new enough (expansion started on 23 October and nominated on the same day). It is neutrally worded and well referenced (AGF for Spanish sources). My only issue is with the wording "he too was groomed at Salamanca"; perhaps change this to "he too started his football career at Salamanca". Also, "manager Antonio Gómez admitted to his excitement" makes little sense and should be reworded; perhaps "manager Antonio Gómez admitted to being excited by Alonso". The hook is of a good length, is interesting (especially to people who think footballers lack intelligence), cited inline, and is neutral. QPQ is complete (even though it is short). @Royroydeb: Gaia Octavia Agrippa Talk 19:20, 25 November 2015 (UTC)
