Overall: See discussion below Flibirigit (talk) 03:41, 20 July 2018 (UTC)
Article was created and then expanded five times on May 18, 2018. It was subsequently expanded on June 6th, which is not within the seven days required for a DYK nomination. However, since it is the users first nomination, QPQ was not required, but one was completed anyhow. I ask for other reviewers to consider overlooking the lapse in nomination for this case.
- I also recommend that the author insert Template:Infobox person for this article as well. Flibirigit (talk) 03:43, 20 July 2018 (UTC)
- Request a second opinion from @Yoninah:, regarding newness eligibility. Thanks. Flibirigit (talk) 03:47, 20 July 2018 (UTC)
@Flibirigit: this is not the nominator's first DYK; in fact, s/he has 6 DYK credits. We would normally IAR for a new nominator who nominates 3 weeks late, but this is not a new nominator. Closing as unsuccessful. Yoninah (talk) 09:11, 20 July 2018 (UTC)
- Hold on. I just noticed a note on the talk page that the article was accepted at Articles for Creation on June 30. So it really was nominated on time. @Flibirigit: you can proceed with this review. I added an infobox, and also a "citation needed" tag for the birthdate. Yoninah (talk) 09:33, 20 July 2018 (UTC)

- I have accepted the newness status as per Yoninah. Waiting for @Redfiona99: to respond to the citation concerns, and proceed with review. Flibirigit (talk) 13:15, 20 July 2018 (UTC)
- Thanks to @EricEnfermero: for helping out with the article too. Would you be willing to help with the DYK? Flibirigit (talk) 13:21, 20 July 2018 (UTC)
- I believe birth and death places should be in a separate sentence, and not within the bracketed dates. Flibirigit (talk) 13:21, 20 July 2018 (UTC)
- Agree. I fixed the lead and moved the cite down to the body text. Yoninah (talk) 14:10, 20 July 2018 (UTC)
- Thanks, @Yoninah:. I have noticed that Redfiona99 last edited any articles on June 30th. I hope this nonimation doesn't stall. Flibirigit (talk) 14:16, 20 July 2018 (UTC)

- Thanks, I will have a look at the article and fix the referencing issues. Will leave another comment on this when I have finished. Red Fiona (talk) 09:02, 21 July 2018 (UTC)
- Thanks, do you have any citations for the list of works and where they are displayed? My other suggestios is when there are more than one cite per sentence, they should be in numerical order. For example [2][5] instead of [5][2]. Thanks. Flibirigit (talk) 14:42, 21 July 2018 (UTC)
- Sorted the reference order. I've found citations for the works where I could. Red Fiona (talk) 20:25, 21 July 2018 (UTC)
- Thanks for the work, it looks good to pass the review now.Flibirigit (talk) 20:37, 21 July 2018 (UTC)

Now that the review is completed, I suggest to try to wikilink more articles to this biography. You might want to add him to lists of famous residents from Givors and Lyons, then link to him from museums, etc. Cheers! Flibirigit (talk) 20:39, 21 July 2018 (UTC)
- since work was done since the last confirmation, I've gone over all the citations in the article and confirmed the information given. I made a couple of changes so that the article and its sources agreed. Also, since the information for the hook could be inferred from cited and confirmed sources, but was not directly stated, I've modified the lead to explicitly state what was previously inferred and added the citations there explicitly. Since I've made those changes, someone else should give a final approval. @Yoninah: @Flibirigit: Enjoy, Mary Mark Ockerbloom (talk) 00:53, 22 July 2018 (UTC)
- Mary Mark Ockerbloom, thanks for the copyediting and improvements. Hook is confirmed in French language source. Overall, it looks even better to me, and good to go! Flibirigit (talk) 01:07, 22 July 2018 (UTC)
