Hsien of the Dead
[edit]- ... that Hsien of the Dead (2012) is "Singapore's first zombie movie"?
Created by Bonkers The Clown (talk). Self nominated at 08:57, 27 September 2013 (UTC).
- New, long enough, within policy, no copyvio found via tool, QPQ done. Hook refs are not sound: Shaw is not a source of reliable content (and the "first" part is a slogan on a stock image), and the other link is from a WordPress blog and either needs to be removed and accepted on good faith if you have a print copy, or altogether new sources need to be found. Alternatively, the hook and article can say that the movie is "marked as" the first (which would admittedly be less interesting). Please ping me if I don't respond. czar ♔ 19:22, 27 September 2013 (UTC)
- The WordPress copy is just a digital scan of a reliable newspaper piece. ☯ Bonkers The Clown \(^_^)/ Nonsensical Babble ☯ 03:37, 28 September 2013 (UTC)
- It's my understanding that it is unreliable by virtue of not being directly from the source. Like I couldn't use a page from a book scanned and put on someone's website both because that is copyright infringement and because I have no guarantee the text wasn't changed. If you had the original in print but not a digital copy and then dropped the link, I would accept the source on good faith (but only if you had the original in print and were vouching for it). czar ♔ 03:47, 28 September 2013 (UTC)
- Found the original URL. ☯ Bonkers The Clown \(^_^)/ Nonsensical Babble ☯ 04:06, 28 September 2013 (UTC)
- I found that site before but didn't replace the link since the content is no longer live. As I said before, I'd need your confirmation that you read the original source and then I can assume good faith. If you haven't used the real source, we'd be mistrusting our faith. czar ♔ 04:26, 28 September 2013 (UTC)
- Yes, I have read it before. I have been subscribing to the print issues of The Business Times, as well as others, for a few years and I always read it daily. I'd suppose giving the online source would be fine as they are the same thing. ☯ Bonkers The Clown \(^_^)/ Nonsensical Babble ☯ 12:16, 18 October 2013 (UTC)
