Histoire ancienne jusqu'à César

[edit]

The coronation of Alexander, from a 15th c. MS of the Histoire ancienne

  • ... that the illuminated French 13th-century Histoire ancienne told the history of the world in prose with moralizing verse?

Length, date, hook checked out; possible image issues - per dyk image rules it should appear in the article, which this doesn't; could be switched with the image that is used but that might require a little licence, since it may be from the companion text (ref 6 p107 [1] says chronicle ends in 57 BC, ie before the whole Rubicon thang); or could switch image in article, but the one currently used looks better etc, Maculosae tegmine lyncis (talk) 02:09, 26 July 2012 (UTC)
  • I added the coronation to the article. Drmies (talk) 04:09, 26 July 2012 (UTC)
