Healdsburg Memorial Bridge

[edit]

Created/expanded by David Eppstein (talk). Self nom at 06:50, 27 December 2011 (UTC)

  • New article, long enough, and well sourced; the image is free (by the way, why not use it in the DYK?). The hook is also fine. Good to go. Sasha (talk) 14:08, 27 December 2011 (UTC)
  • Re the image: I'm not absolutely certain it's the right bridge. It's a photo of a truss bridge across the Russian river near Healdsburg, but the trusses don't quite look the same as on some other images. I'm suspicious that it may be the railroad bridge next to the memorial bridge, instead of the memorial bridge itself. So I've removed it from the article unless/until it can be confirmed or replaced by an image that is more clearly the right one. —David Eppstein (talk) 19:05, 28 December 2011 (UTC)
  • looks similar to the photos on the site, but probably the best thing to do is to go there and check (you are closer than me :) Anyhow, the article without the picture is also good for DYK. Sasha (talk) 16:04, 29 December 2011 (UTC)
  • Probably should have stopped when I drove past a couple days ago. Oh well. Anyway, thanks for the review! —David Eppstein (talk) 17:45, 29 December 2011 (UTC)
