Hadran (Talmud)

[edit]
  • ... that the hadran prayer recited after studying a tractate of the Talmud is an expression of love and friendship between the student and the tractate?

  • New enough and long enough. QPQ done. No images to check copyright on. Not familiar enough with the source but it appears neutral enough. Hooked fact found in article and supported by inline citation.
  • Book sources support text and were not plagiarised to write.
  • הדרן עלך מסכת ____ והדרך עלן is mentioned in the article but it does not appear in the article. This needs a source or I need to be told it is covered under MOS as the plot part. --LauraHale (talk) 12:43, 8 July 2012 (UTC)
  • I don't understand your comment. I just looked at the last page of Tractate Berakhot and copied the hadran, then added transliteration and translation. I gave a link under External Links to the Talmud page. Yoninah (talk) 21:26, 8 July 2012 (UTC)
  • Can you better cite where the quote in the article comes from? That's all I am looking for. :) --LauraHale (talk) 07:35, 9 July 2012 (UTC)
  • If you are referring to the text of the hadran prayer, it is a standard feature in every volume of Talmud since the Talmud was first printed in 1520. I did the transliteration, and added a source which gives an explanation of the translation (in Hebrew). Yoninah (talk) 12:19, 9 July 2012 (UTC)
Fully sourced. As only hang up before, we are good to go. --LauraHale (talk) 12:45, 9 July 2012 (UTC)
