Kenneth W. Ford

[edit]

Created by Puttyhead (talk). Self nominated at 16:48, 11 July 2013 (UTC).

What article is being nominated here? Oppenheimer and H-bomb aren't it (not recently expanded), Kenneth Ford hasn't been edited since January, and there is no H-Bomb Yield Calculation. DYK is for recently new or expanded articles (within the last five days). Chris857 (talk) 17:05, 11 July 2013 (UTC)
  • Checking the user's contributions, it seems clear that Kenneth W. Ford is the intended DYK article. I've edited everything to reflect that, but, as mentioned above, the article hasn't been edited since January; it's currently 8844 characters, so an eligible five times expansion is extremely unlikely. Puttyhead, thanks for trying, but please review the rules at WP:DYK. MANdARAX  XAЯAbИAM 19:34, 11 July 2013 (UTC)
I was looking at Puttyhead's contributions, and he got it reviewed at AFC, and it got moved into the mainspace on the 11 July. However, I am not sure if this will make it eligible, but just thought you might want know... Matty.007 19:19, 13 July 2013 (UTC)
  • Sorry, got the wrong year. That will teach me... Matty.007 19:43, 13 July 2013 (UTC)
Thanks, folks. Just thought it was an interesting tidbit for the anniversary of the Ivy Mike H bomb test. No worries. User:Puttyhead
