- ALT1:... that Gustav Sobottka, Jr. was imprisoned by the Nazis for being a Communist and by the Communists for allegedly being a Nazi?
- ALT2:... that the Soviet Union kept Gustav Sobottka, Jr. in prison and would not release him, but refused to try him in court because of insufficient evidence?
- ALT3:... that the Soviet Union kept Gustav Sobottka, Jr. in prison under false charges until he died, then 16 years later, exonerated him?

- An interesting and detailed article. Date, length and hook are fine though the references are mostly in German and so inaccessible to me. I favour the original hook or ALT1. Cwmhiraeth (talk) 11:43, 16 December 2011 (UTC)
