Goat Simulator
[edit]- ... that Goat Simulator was released on April Fools' Day?
- Alt ... that within six months of release, Coffee Stain Studios' Goat Simulator, a joke-filled result of an internal game jam, outsold the developer's previous releases over the prior four years?
Improved to Good Article status by Masem (talk). Nominated by Freikorp (talk) at 05:57, 10 February 2015 (UTC).
- I'm providing what I think is a bit more interesting hook having written much of the original article. (Not that the 4/1 release is not interesting but I think there's other more DYK-worthy interesting facts). --MASEM (t) 06:34, 10 February 2015 (UTC)
- New GA, interesting, well-written and -referenced, hook facts are cited and no paraphrasing issues detected on spotcheck. (I almost want to play this game, just for the heck of it...) I too clearly prefer the suggested ALT hook. Good to go, except that a QPQ review by nominator is outstanding. Constantine ✍ 21:48, 10 February 2015 (UTC)
- @Cplakidas: I didn't realise I had to give a QPQ if it wasn't a self-nomination. I've now reviewed this nomination. :) Freikorp (talk) 22:28, 10 February 2015 (UTC)
- OK then, this is good to go! Constantine ✍ 13:14, 11 February 2015 (UTC)
- Comment: This seems like a good topic for an April Fool's Day DYK, but I can't come up with a catchy line. AHeneen (talk) 08:22, 12 February 2015 (UTC)
